Are you an EMPATH? A Sensitive Soul that feels and senses everything around them in a very deep and profound way. It’s like you are the ‘person or situation’ that you are feeling in the moment.
As an empath you experience what others are going through very intensely and you also have a very deep emotional connection to what another person is experiencing. At times this unique aspect of you leaves you feeling drained, confused about a certain person or situation and sometimes uncertain about what the next step is on your path.
I know what that feels like and there were times in the past that it left me feeling like ‘I had the LIFE sucked out of me’ and I didn’t know what to do about it.
When I realised that I was more sensitive than others, feeling, thinking, knowing and seeing things that others weren’t able to pick up on, I knew that I had learn how to harness my sensitivity and turn it into my strength. I’d love to share with you what I learnt and how I’m always putting that wisdom into practice……
Here are 6 ways to transform your beautiful SENSITIVITY into your Biggest Strength
1) Treat your SELF in the way that you would a beautiful, innocent and playful child.
When you speak or relate to a child, it is always done in a very loving, compassionate and non-judgemental way. There is a certain level of respect that you give a child because you know and understand that they are innocent and pure.
How would you speak to yourself? How can you treat yourself with more love and respect?
Meditation is such a beautiful way to quieten your mind and get connected to your truth and higher self in the moment.
Committing to a meditation practice will help give you more clarity, peace and greater discernment around what’s your stuff and what’s another person’s stuff. Remember, you need only take responsibility for what’s coming up for you.
3) Clearing and cleansing your energy
You can do this through guided meditations or by visualising a beautiful white light cleansing and clearing YOU.
Sometimes the energy you are carrying around might not even be yours, so it’s so important to clear yourself of any unwanted or negative energy that could bring you down.
4) Feel your feelings
This is huge, and I’m a firm believer that when you allow yourself to feel everything that’s coming up for you in the moment you can shift it to a higher level of awareness with more ease and grace.
No matter how overwhelming it can be at times, feeling your feelings is the key to unlocking a deeper relationship to yourself and to those around you.
5) Release all beliefs, people, places, things and situations that are no longer serving you
When you release all that no longer serves you, you create the space within you, to invite in something or someone that’s more aligned with your truth.
As you stop giving your time, energy and resources to things that no longer have meaning or value for you, you’ll have more energy and time to do all the things that truly light your Soul up with so much Love, Peace and Joy.
6) LOVE yourself more and just BE YOU
Self love is pivotal in creating the life that you desire. As a sensitive Soul, it’s so important to honor our truth in each and every moment. Remember when you LOVE yourself, you are also loving others. It is your truth and your light that is needed in the world right now.
